What is Paisley Grace Makery?
Paisley Grace Makery is a DIY creative studio and gift boutique in Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island, Florida. Since 2015 we've helped people paint and build their own home decor from more than 2,000 projects, including wood signs, epoxy, sea glass art and more. You can join a workshop, book a private party, shop handmade and personalized gifts, or take a DIY kit home.
Where are you located, and where do I park?
We're at 1014 S. 7th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, on Amelia Island. Heading east on SR 200, turn left on Kelp Street, then right on 7th Street. Look for the teal building with the wood fence. Park in our lot, on the grass, or in the lot next door when it's available. Get directions →
What are your hours?
We're open Tuesday through Saturday and closed Sundays and Mondays. Open Paint runs 11am to 4pm every day we're open and is for all ages. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings we host a 6pm Pick Your Project workshop for ages 16 and up. See the workshop calendar →
Do I need any art experience?
Not at all. Every project comes with everything you need, and our team walks you through it step by step. Most of our guests have never done anything like it before, and they leave with something they're proud to hang on the wall.
Do I need to book ahead?
Not for Open Paint. Walk-ins are welcome 11am to 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday. For our evening public workshops and private parties, please register online in advance so we have your project ready and enough seats for your group. Not sure which project you want? What ages can come?
Everyone! Open Paint (11am to 4pm, Tuesday through Saturday) is for all ages, and Toddler Time is Thursdays at 10am for our littlest makers. Our 6pm Pick Your Project workshops on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are for ages 16 and up.
What can we do on Amelia Island on a rainy day?
Come make something! Paisley Grace Makery is an indoor creative studio in Fernandina Beach where families, couples and friends can paint a sign, pour epoxy or make sea glass art together. Can I host a bachelorette party, birthday or girls' night at your studio?
Yes, and we love them! Private parties get the studio to yourselves with no guest minimum. Adult parties last about 2.5 hours and youth parties about 90 minutes. We're BYOB, you're welcome to bring snacks, charcuterie or cupcakes, and we provide tables, a fridge, wine openers, all materials, step-by-step instruction and cleanup. We're about 45 minutes from downtown Jacksonville, and we recommend booking at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead. Book a private party →
Can I bring wine or food?
Yes, anytime! Paisley Grace Makery is BYOB for Open Paint, evening workshops and private parties. You're welcome to bring wine, snacks, charcuterie, cupcakes or anything that fits your night. We have a fridge and wine openers ready for you.
Do you do corporate team building or events at hotels?
Yes. We host corporate groups in our studio and bring workshops to you, including resin-epoxy board workshops and on-site laser engraving where guests personalize their own gift. Can I shop without taking a workshop?
Absolutely. Our studio has a gift boutique full of handmade gifts and home decor, and you can shop online anytime. We also sell DIY kits so you can create at home. Shop online →
How long does it take to get my project back?
Many projects go home with you the same day. Some, like epoxy, need time to cure; we'll bag your piece and call you when it's ready for pickup. Unclaimed pieces are held for 90 days and then donated.
Do you host fundraisers?
