Maker Meet Up 2027 is four days inside my studio in Fernandina Beach, sleeves rolled up, learning the way makers actually learn — by doing. We are going back to our roots: hands-on craft every morning, real business training every afternoon, and the time and the tools to map out your whole 2027 before you head home.

Not included: the morning craft workshops, materials, meals, Open Studio equipment time and the evenings together. That is the in-studio half of this event, and it does not travel over a screen.

Group rate: $139 to $189 per night, applied automatically through our booking link. No code to type in, just pick your nights.
One date to put on your calendar: the group rate is only held through Thursday, December 10, 2026. After that, the rooms release back to the hotel and the price climbs. Think of it like our seats — yours until they are gone.

Where is Maker Meet Up 2027 held?
Daytime sessions are at the Paisley Grace Makery DIY art studio at 1014 South 7th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, on Amelia Island. Evenings gather in the conference room at the Residence Inn by Marriott — Amelia Island, which is also where our hotel room block is held.
What are the dates, and when should I arrive and leave?
Programming runs Wednesday, January 6 through Saturday, January 9, 2027. The hotel room block covers Wednesday, January 6 through Sunday, January 10, so you can fly out Sunday rather than rushing off on Saturday night. Tuesday, January 5 is also available in the block if you would rather come in a day early and settle in.
Is my hotel room included in the $549?
No. Registration covers the training days, the craft workshops, guest teacher sessions and meals during the event. Your room is booked separately through our Residence Inn group link at the $139 to $189 nightly rate, and it follows the hotel's own cancellation terms rather than ours.
What is the difference between the in-studio and virtual tickets?
The $549 in-studio ticket is the whole event: craft mornings, business afternoons, Open Studio equipment time, meals and the evenings together. The $279 virtual ticket is the afternoon business training only, streamed live each day, covering content, social and AI. Virtual attendees do not receive craft materials or kits, and the hands-on half of the event does not stream.
Do I need to be an experienced maker to come?
No. Because we all work the same craft at the same time instead of splitting into rotations, there is room to ask the question you would be too embarrassed to ask in a crowd. Makers come at every stage, from the ones opening a studio to the ones selling at markets on weekends to the ones still deciding whether to go all in.
Will I be sold equipment the whole time?
No vendor sales pitches. The xTool, Eufy Make and sandblaster are set up in the studio during Open Studio Time so you can try them at your own pace with zero pressure. Getting your hands on a machine before you spend thousands on one is exactly the point.
How many makers will be there?
Seats are intentionally limited. This is an in-studio experience, not an arena event, and the whole format depends on the group staying small enough that everyone gets their questions answered. When the seats are gone, they are gone.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
More than 60 days before the event, you receive a full refund minus a $50 processing fee. Between 30 and 60 days before, a 75% refund of the registration fee. Less than 30 days before, the registration fee is non-refundable. To cancel, email info@paisleygracemakery.com with your full name and registration details; refunds are processed within 10 business days to your original payment method. Accommodation refunds follow the hotel's policy, not ours. If we cancel or significantly reschedule the Meet Up, you receive a full refund or the option to transfer your registration to the new date.
Can I share a room to keep the cost down?
Yes, and plenty of makers do. Email info@paisleygracemakery.com and we will help connect you with others looking to share. One person books the room through the group link and roommates settle up with each other directly.
