Frequently asked questions
What exactly is The Maker’s Blueprint?
The Maker’s Blueprint is a self-paced, 6-module course that walks you through how to build, organize, and grow your DIY workshop business—whether you’re mobile, brick-and-mortar, or somewhere in between. It’s equal parts strategy, systems, and support, designed for real-life makers who want less chaos and more clarity.
I’m not new to DIY workshops. Is this going to be too basic?
Nope! Whether you're just getting started or already knee-deep in projects and paint water, The Maker’s Blueprint helps you build (or rebuild) a business that worksforyou. It's not about doing more—it's about doing the right things, in the right order. Veteran makers will find systems to scale; beginners will finally feel like they’re not flying blind.
How long will it take to go through the course?
Each module is around 30–45 minutes of video, with action steps and workbook exercises you can do at your pace. Some students binge it in a weekend with snacks. Others take it one week at a time. You get lifetime access, so there’s no rush—just progress. Quarterly we will go through each module in LIVE Zooms. You can join as many or as few as you wish!
Is this live or recorded?
It’s all pre-recorded and ready for you when you are! You’ll also get access to our private support group where you can ask questions, share wins, and hear from other business owners who get it.
What kind of tools are included?
Glad you asked. You’ll get:
- A 100-page workbook
- Planning calendars and project launch tools
- Email and social media scripts
- Templates for inventory, SOPs, and more
Basically, the things you’ve been meaning to create—but haven’t had the time to (or didn't know where to start).
What makes this different from other business courses?
This is not a generic business course written by someone who’s never dealt with 47 paint jars drying at once. It’s made by a DIY studio owner (hi 👋) who’s been in the trenches—craft kits, workshops, mobile parties, staff drama, retail setups—you name it. This is a roadmapfor makers, by a maker who knows exactly what you're juggling. I've ran my brick and mortar studio with a mobile component for over 10 years.
