How much does an art field trip cost?
A field trip at Paisley Grace Makery in Fernandina Beach is $15 per student. For a field trip in our studio, a $75 booking fee reserves your date, and per-student costs are invoiced once your numbers are final. For groups of 100 or more students, our instructors can come to your school at the same $15 per student. Classroom kits are $15 each, or $10 each when you order 10 or more.
How many students can you take at once?
Our studio holds up to 50 students at one time. For larger grades we can schedule more than one session.
Can you come to our school instead?
Yes, for groups of 100 or more students. Our instructors come to your school and lead students through the project for $15 per student, and we bring everything needed to complete it. Request an in-school date with the school request form.
What do students make?
Students create their own handcrafted wood sign. Every field trip and classroom kit comes with six design options, so each student chooses their favorite rather than everyone making the same thing. Browse the current designs in our Classroom Kits and Field Trips collection.
What is a classroom kit?
A classroom kit is a self-led option for teachers. We send all the materials you need for an art project in your classroom, including boards, stencils, paint, sponges and teaching instructions, for $15 per kit, or $10 each when you order 10 or more.
Do you accept school purchase orders?
Yes. If your school pays by purchase order or needs an invoice, W-9 or vendor paperwork first, send the details through our school request form and we will prepare an invoice for your bookkeeper, so you do not have to pay out of pocket.
How far ahead should we book?
Book at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead so we can cut and prep materials for your group. Reach out sooner for large grades or for dates near the end of the school year.
What groups can book a field trip?
Public, private and homeschool classes, scout troops, 4-H and church youth groups, summer camps and after-school programs all book field trips at Paisley Grace Makery.
Do you have options for holidays and themes?
Yes. Seasonal and holiday designs are added through the year, so we can match a project to your theme, season or class celebration. Ask your coordinator what is available for your date.
Where is the studio?
Parties are held at the Paisley Grace Makery DIY art studio at 1014 South 7th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, on Amelia Island.
