How much does a private suncatcher party cost?
A private suncatcher party at Paisley Grace Makery starts with a $75 room rental fee that reserves your party room. Suncatchers are $50 per guest, and the host can cover that cost or let each guest pay their own way.
What do guests make?
Each guest makes an 8 inch sea glass suncatcher. You choose a wooden frame design, paint it, then layer in crushed glass, seashells and resin so it catches the light in a window.
Do the suncatchers go home the same day?
Yes. Sea glass suncatchers are cured in the studio under a UV light, so your guests take them home the same day. Sea glass frames are the exception and should stay overnight.
Do we need any experience?
No experience needed. Our team guides the group step by step, from choosing colors to placing the glass.
Is there a guest minimum?
No. There is no guest minimum for a private suncatcher party, because the $75 room rental covers private use of the party room.
How do guests sign up and pay?
Guests register through the private link your booking coordinator emails you after you schedule. All guests must register at least 3 days in advance; later registrations add a $5 rush cut fee so we can still cut and prep their project in time. As the host you can pay in full, cover part of the cost, or let each guest pay for their own suncatcher.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Paisley Grace Makery is BYOB and you are welcome to bring snacks, charcuterie, cake or cupcakes. The studio has tables, a fridge and wine openers ready.
Is there a version for kids?
Yes. The Here Comes the Suncatcher Party is a youth package priced at $500 for up to 10 guests, designed for ages 7 and up.
How long is the party?
Plan on about 90 minutes of crafting time in your private party room. Additional time is available at $50 per 30 minutes, arranged when you book.
Where is the party held?
Parties are held at the Paisley Grace Makery DIY art studio at 1014 South 7th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, on Amelia Island.
