How much does a Books & Blooms party cost?
A private Books & Blooms party at Paisley Grace Makery starts with a $75 room rental fee that reserves your party room. Arrangements are $55 to $75 per guest depending on the piece, and the host can cover that or let guests pay their own way.
What do guests make?
Each guest builds a sola wood flower arrangement set into the pages of an open book. You choose your flowers, greenery and filler, and our team helps shape the bouquet.
What are sola wood flowers?
Sola wood flowers are handmade from thin sheets of a soft, natural plant material shaped into petals. They look and feel like delicate blooms, but they never need water and they do not wilt.
Do I have to bring a book?
No. Bring a book that means something to your group if you like, or use one of ours. If your group would rather make a wreath, let us know when you book and we can set you up with wreath forms.
Do arrangements go home the same day?
Yes. Sola flower arrangements are finished during the party and go home with your guests that day.
Is there a guest minimum?
No. There is no guest minimum, because the $75 room rental covers private use of the party room.
How do guests sign up and pay?
Guests register through the private link your booking coordinator emails you after you schedule. All guests must register at least 3 days in advance; later registrations add a $5 rush cut fee so we can still cut and prep their project in time. As the host you can pay in full, cover part of the cost, or let each guest pay for their own arrangement.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Paisley Grace Makery is BYOB and you are welcome to bring snacks, charcuterie, cake or cupcakes. The studio has tables, a fridge and wine openers ready.
What kind of groups book this party?
Book clubs, bridal and baby showers, girls' nights, birthdays, teacher and librarian gatherings, retirement celebrations and mother-daughter afternoons. It is a calm, conversational party, so it suits groups who want to talk while they create.
Where is the party held?
Parties are held at the Paisley Grace Makery DIY art studio at 1014 South 7th Street, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, on Amelia Island.
