What are Sea Glass Ornaments?
Sea Glass Ornaments are clear round ornaments that you decorate with sea glass, crushed glass and small shells, set in clear resin. The design is yours: guests have made Christmas trees, wreaths, waves, shells and crescent moons. Hang one on the tree in December and in a window the rest of the year.
Think of each one as a tiny sun catcher for the tree: the lights behind it do the work the sun does in a window. They are small enough to make more than one in a sitting, so you can keep one and give the rest.
Bring your own shells or shark teeth from the beach if you like, and the ornament becomes a record of the trip.

Register to reserve your project
In-stock projects vary daily, so registering is the best way to make sure this one is waiting for you. Add it to your cart and choose your date in the Choose Your Workshop menu by the Add to Cart button. Walk-ins are welcome during Open Paint, Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm, and choose from what is in stock that day.

Design your ornament
Arrange sea glass, crushed glass and shells on the clear ornament. A tree, a wreath, a wave, or anything else you can picture.

Cure it and take it home
We set your design with UV resin and cure it under the light, so your ornaments go home with you the same day.

What are Sea Glass Ornaments?

How much do sea glass ornaments cost?
One ornament is $20, two are $37.50 ($18.75 each) and four are $65 ($16.25 each). Glass, resin and instruction are included.
Do I need experience to make sea glass art?
No. Every project comes with everything you need, and our team walks you through it step by step. Most of our guests have never made anything like it before.
When can I make sea glass ornaments, and do I need a reservation?
Registration is recommended if you want this specific project, because in-stock projects vary daily. Add it to your cart and choose a date in the Choose Your Workshop menu to make them during Open Paint (Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 4pm, all ages) or at a 6pm Pick Your Project workshop on Thursday, Friday or Saturday (ages 16+). You can also check the workshop calendar. Walk-ins are welcome during Open Paint and choose from the projects in stock that day. The studio is closed Sunday and Monday.
Can I take my sea glass ornaments home the same day?
Yes. In the studio we set the glass with UV resin and cure it under a UV light, so your ornaments go home with you the same day. If you make them at home from a Take & Make kit, let them dry overnight.
Can I make sea glass ornaments at home?
Yes. Choose Take & Make in the buy box and everything you need is in the kit. Let the ornaments dry overnight before you hang them.
What designs can I make on a sea glass ornament?
Anything that fits on a round ornament. Christmas trees, wreaths, waves, shells, starfish and crescent moons have all been made in the studio, and the design is up to you.
Can I bring my own sea glass, shells or shark teeth?
Yes. We have a wide variety of glass colors and shapes in the studio, and you are welcome to bring your own beach finds to work into your design.
Is the studio BYOB, and can kids come?
Yes to both. Paisley Grace Makery is BYOB for Open Paint, evening workshops and private parties. Open Paint (11am to 4pm, Tuesday to Saturday) is for all ages, and the 6pm Pick Your Project workshops are for ages 16 and up.
Can we make sea glass art at a private party?
Yes. Sea glass projects can be booked for birthdays, bachelorette parties, girls' nights and team outings. Private parties have no guest minimum, and adult parties last about 2.5 hours. See our private party options.
